EMILY           New four-engine flying boat.

ERVING        Twin-engine fighter.

FRANCES     Twin-engine bomber.

FRANK         New single engine bomber.

GEORGE       New single engine fighter. (Later model of the Tojo)

GRACE         New torpedo bomber, low-single gull wing plane. Similar to our Corsair

HAMP           (later model of Zero) with square wing tips

HAP             Single seat fighter similar to Zero, but with square wing tips

HELEN        Twin-engine bomber.

JACK           Single engine fighter.

JAKE            Observation plane with low wings and twin floats or pontoons.

JILL               New single engine torpedo plane.

JUDY             New single engine dive bomber.

KATE            Navy torpedo plane-low wing-single engine

LILY              Twin-engine bomber.

LIZ                 New Jap four-engine bomber, similar to our B-17.

MAVIS          Four engine parasol flying boat. First Jap aircraft used in bombing Australia & New Guinea. Maximum bomb load 3,300 lbs.

MYRT            Single engine, low wing, reconnaissance plane. Three man, equipped with radio.

NATE             Single seat fighter

NELL             Twin-engine bomber used for reconnaissance, high altitude bombing, transport & torpedo attacks. This type of plane sank the HMS Repulse and HMS Prince of Wales.

NICK             Twin engine fighter, low wing.

OSCAR          Single engine fighter.

PETE               Single engine biplane fixed with a single pontoon.

RUFE              (Zero) equipped with a pontoon

SALLY            Twin-engine bomber

TOJO               New single engine fighter.

TONY             Single engine fighter.

TOPSY           Twin-engine, low wing, transport.

VAL                Navy dive bomber

ZEKE             (Zero) single seat fighter
